Gillie welcome's you to her home in Little Compton and offers a warm and relaxed atmosphere for all her guests including children & dogs but can only accept up to two small / medium sized dogs.

Little Compton is a typical Cotswold village with a beautiful Jacobean manor house, an old church and a local pub The Red Lion which is featured in the Good Pub Guide. The house directly backs onto fields and beautiful countryside.

Within just 15 minutes drive are the beautiful Cotswold towns of Stow in the Wold, Moreton in Marsh, Chipping Campden and Chipping Norton.

Gillie was married to the actor Terence Longdon,who died recently, he appeared in many of The Carry On films and Ben Hur, Gillie has worked in the tourist industry for many years and is a Blue Badge Guide, she is more than happy to advise you on hidden villages and countryside well off the beaten track, as well as the many stately homes and gardens open to the public. Gillie can also recommend pubs offering really good food, the best tea rooms, antique shops, as well as places that children like to visit.
